Maison Électronique
ABOUT
Maison Électronique is an instrumental trio playing original compositions that blend Congolese rumba and contemporary seben guitar styles with other African musics and Western styles like shoegaze, surf, and dub. The group is led by guitarist Nathaniel Braddock. Braddock has traveled extensively in West and Central Africa, and collaborated with many musicians from Ghana, Congo, Zambia, Uganda, Mali, Mozambique, and Senegal, as well as US and Australian Indie rock bands. He also leads Occidental Brothers Dance Band Int'l, Trio Mokili, and Accra Quartet. He is joined by Ugandan bassist Alex Donsal Kateregga and drummer Frank Aveni. The group is based out of the Boston area.
